Japanese Fusion Garden

February 23, 2014 ,

Japanese gardens are ripe with symbolism. In this case, the garden recreates natural landscape. The rock gardens, karesansui, are the best known since they are stunning in their simplicity. The concentric circles in the white crush represent water, whereas elements such as the carefully trimmed hedges depict the surrounding hills.

The fusion aspect of the garden is with the inclusion of a wooden gazebo (often seen in formal french gardens) as well as an inclusion of concrete stepping stones to add some oomph to the grass lawn.
